c.1936, early 16" archtop by Jack Abbott Snr (signed & dated), carved spruce top, figured maple b/s, dk red handrubbed & shaded finish, raised ebony fbd with odd pearl block inlays (not original, methinks), fancy pearl head inlay, replaced tuners & bridge, no cracks but binding has shrunk & been reglued in some places, fine old jazzer with strong cutting sound, VGC
